The National Day of Inaction
Monday, March 15th is the National Day of Inaction is a call for rest and restoration for Black women and workers who have done far too much for far too little during a global, deadly pandemic. To use the words of thought leader Nadya Stevens, this is an impromptu mental health holiday.
If you have the means, we urge you to take time off and/or limit contact and communication with others as a means of centering your health needs, whatever they may be.
If you are an employer, we demand providing paid time off and a boost to benefits for Black women and workers.
If you are a Black women, and you'd like to receive a handwritten small message of kindness, please fill out the contact form below.
